The Courtyard

New fave place to stay at Cannon Beach. Spacious room with sliding doors that Lea’s to private patio. Wonderful Fireplace. Sitting area with reading chairs separated from dining/working table. Accessible shower. Very comfortable king bed. Charming entry aka courtyard with fountain. Sleepy Monk coffee. Gate access with key after 10PM. Parking is easy and amazingly close to the beach. Walk out the patio door and it's less than 200 yards to the secret stairs that lead down to the beach. This is an amazing find. And as of December when I returned they had created a new cinema room where a small group of folks can have an intimate movie viewing experience complete with popcorn. It's like being in your own private theater. Definitely my new favorite place to stay at Cannon Beach now. Check-in happens at Cannon Beach Hotel down the street. Natalie was amazing and GM Cameron simply provided outstanding customer service (including coming to the rescue at 11PM when you have locked yourself out of your room)! And they have a fantastic relationship with the whiskey bar/restaurant MacGregor's.

Very clean and luxurious stay. Best birthday trip ever!

We came here way back in the 90‘s when it was relatively new. Rooms are spacious and clean. Nice location next to the beach. Room service was prompt. Love the inner courtyard and library even though we did never took much advantage of it. Plenty parking and only a few steps away to the beach. We stayed here year after year. But decided to check other places out as comparison. Some where cheaper and you could tell the difference. So when we decided to come back years later we could see the facility and rooms show its marks of wear and tear. I wish the management could make some upgrades or improvements. It is still a good place but not how we recalled. Hence I had to lower the rating for the rooms!!!

We had to change our reservation to a different weekend, and they were incredibly helpful and amazing. We moved from the Mcbee cottages to the courtyard. Wow , the room was beautiful , the ocean was a 2 minute walk. A small kitchenette was very handy. Loved the fireplace and sitting area The courtyard was inviting and charming I highly recommend staying here.

We had originally booked for McBee Cottages, but we're moved here due to some issue with flooring at McBee. They don't normally allow pets, but since it was their issue, we got to stay with our little guy. The room was a total upgrade! Very spacious and comfy/cozy, and just a short walk from the beach. A pretty large fridge and kitchenette was a nice touch, and I really enjoyed reading on our first floor enclosed balcony. Bed is comfy, pillows are great, and check in/out are a breeze. It's 2 blocks from the beach, which is great. I don't have anything bad to say! We will keep staying with this chain when we come back!

I had a great stay! The new owners have given each room a lovely upgraded look while keeping the relaxed at the beach vibe. I loved the new mattress - best hotel mattress I’ve slept upon. When I clumsily managed to knock down the 7 foot high curtain covering the sliding door at 8 PM, a call to the front desk brought Mindy to my door in less that 5 minutes. There she was with step stool and a big smile. As she quickly fixed the drape we were chatting and laughing. She made me feel there was no place she’d rather be than helping me. That is excellent customer service! If you want a lovely, immaculate place to stay with great customer service, I highly recommend the Courtyard.

I love this hotel. It was so cute, cozy, and convenient. You have your own parking space, the side street next to the hotel provides a short walk to the beach, and the room, although a bit smaller than expected, had a kitchenette, fireplace, and balcony. I thought we’d either get a kitchenette or fireplace but we got both. The toilet had the water running awhile when we first used it but it eventually returned to normal after that brief moment. The staff were so friendly and professional. They also gave what we needed right away (extra towels, toiletries and such). The courtyard, fountain, and library are so lovely as well! At the library, you can also get some refreshments. It was my friends’ first time to Cannon Beach and they loved the convenience of The Courtyard, and of course, Cannon Beach itself. It was our first time at The Courtyard and I would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Cannon Beach Hotel Collection!!

We return every year for a Valentine's Day trip, and each year leave even happier than the last. Clean, accommodating, and friendly with the perfect location; The kitchenettes are fully set with anything you might need, and the continental breakfast is the best I have yet to come across (and even features local products!) This hotel really makes you feel at home, and is more of a 5 star than a 3. I travel quite a bit and have never seen a hotel consistently go above and beyond like this, I strongly suggest you book here if you haven't already. Ps. The jacuzzi tubs are a relaxing touch!
